3 weeks to go! Dress code and travel time

Not long now, we're feeling pretty good about everything and looking forward to seeing you all.

Dress Code
I've had a few 'dress code' enquiries and safe to say it won't be a super-formal occasion, suits aren't required. So, semi formal/country picnic!! :) It's a country setting and it will be outdoors as well as indoors. I'd suggest bringing a jacket because it could be chilly at night time (there will be heaters though). You may also need gumboots and umbrella the way this weather is going!!

Travel Time
Please note that the venue is approx 10km outside of Kangaroo Valley, down the Upper Kangaroo River Road (narrow and a bit windy in spots). Please keep this extra distance in mind if you are driving to the wedding, as it will take longer to get there than it would to get to just Kangaroo Valley.

See you all soon,
Jess

RSVP and Buses

Less than three months to go and we're excited!

If we could ask that anyone who has not yet RSVP'd to do so by February 1st, that way we can start looking into how many buses to organise for transportation and more importantly how much wine/beer to order!

You are welcome to call Toby or me, or send us an email. You can RSVP via this link, please let us know in the comments if you want to use the bus!

Thanks,
Jess

Block Booking at Barrengarry Farm Cottages

Hi Everyone,

We've had a chat to Katrina at the Barrengarry Farm Cottages in Kangaroo Valley and they are more than happy to assist you with accommodation for 2 nights in one of their cabins.

Cabins range from basic - Queen bed, shared amenities, veranda for $90 for both nights, up to deluxe cabins and cabins you can share with others.

Visit their website for information, or we suggest you call Jasmine on (02) 4465 1404 to discuss your needs. You can then make the booking under 'Small' (your name) or 'Brain' (your name) to ensure we keep track of how many bookings are dedicated to the wedding party. There should be room for about 15 couples or about 30 people - maybe more so first in best dressed!

There are also other accommodation options in the KV as mentioned in our previous blog.

We will also make sure the buses pick up/drop off here so you won't need to drive.

Thanks

Toby + Jess

Accommodation in Kangaroo Valley

Here is a list of various accommodation options in Kangaroo Valley. They generally require two nights minimum for bookings.

The wedding is in the middle of the school holidays so we suggest you organise accommodation quick smart to ensure you get a place to sleep!

We will be talking to a couple of hotels in the area to see if we can get a bulk booking somewhere and will keep you posted if so.

Kangaroo Valley and the surrounding area has lots of beautiful things to see and do, why not make a holiday of it and enjoy the area.

We're looking into hiring a bus to pick up and drop off guests. Please let us know if you're interested so we can add you to the list (we'll need accommodation details quite soon if you want a spot).
